Chester and Liverpool Motor Clubs Speed
Championship |
We run,
along with our friends at Liverpool Motor Club,
one of the best supported sprint and hillclimb championships
in the North West.
76 competitors registered for the Championship in
2008 and the Championship in Division 1 went down
to the last round.
Two Divisions to Choose From
There are two divisions within the championship.
Division 1 covers a whole year’s competition
but if you wish to do fewer events we have Division
2 which covers just six events. The second division
is ideal if you are new to sprints and hillclimbs
or are unable to do a full season of events.
Prize Presentation Evening
We hold a prize presentation evening at the end
of the year where trophies are presented to the
overall winners, the best performances by members
of Chester Motor Club and of Liverpool Motor Club
and also awards for the leaders of each class.
In 2008 there were 76 registered competitors and
we presented 52 awards.
The prize presentation evening is an informal and
friendly event with guests invited so why not join
the championship, try to win something and bring
your partner along for a pleasant evening.
Classic Road & Racing Cars Championship
Classic Road & Racing Cars also have a separate
category within the Speed Championship, with participants
competing for the Concerto Support Services Trophy
and for the Martin Pratt Trophy
