Martin sadly passed away Sunday 13th July 2008 after a long illness. He was one of the longest serving members of Chester Motor Club, Martin acted as Treasurer, Vice President, always active in the Clubs events and one of the instigators of the North West Stages Rally. An enthusiastic historic rally organiser/helper and competitor in his MK1 Cortina, even venturing abroad. He will be fondly remembered for his larger than life outlook and witty commentary wherever he went.
